Pleyel Cross-strung

The Pleyel Cross-strung Harp, also known as a chromatic double harp, is a unique multi-course instrument featuring two intersecting rows of strings that do not touch. Unlike pedal harps, where accidentals are achieved through the use of pedals, and lever harps, where levers are used, the cross-strung harp provides each of the twelve semitones of the chromatic scale its own dedicated string. Although we have never played this harp, it is undeniably beautiful and would make a perfect addition to your collection.
